Shop Construction

We began building our shop a couple weeks ago. It's all framed up, and we're in the process of putting on the roof. We've had a lot of good help, and have been moving along pretty quickly. I don't know much about building; I just take the pictures. :)

I thought this picture came out really well, if I do say so myself.
Here's how it looked before they started putting up the sheet metal. I'll post an updated picture soon.

Rainbow

And God said, "This is the sign of the Covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh."

3rd Place!

A couple weeks ago, the Franklin Farmer's Market had a booth-decorating competition. We thought it would be fun to decorate our booth, but we just didn't have time to do it. In fact, we were so busy on the day of the competition, that we completely forgot about it. The next Saturday, the market manager came around, and handing Mom a ribbon and an envelope, she said, "Congratulations! Y'all won third place!" I thought to myself, "That's awesome! Wait...Third place?...Third place in what?" Well it turned out that we had won third place in the booth-decorating competition that we hadn't even decorated for. And we were awarded $25 to boot!

We hung our ribbon on our handy-dandy chalkboard that Jacob and I made (I"ll have to post a picture of it soon).

Here's mom explaining the difference between regular cucumbers and our Mini Whites.
And here's our display of vegetables. It changes from week to week, depending on what we have to sell.
